ABOUT THE ZINE
Wine and Dine is a not for profit Dream SMP charity zine.The zine’s theme will be "Food in the Dream SMP." Produced by various creators within the fandom, we will be including artworks, fics, and possibly recipes inspired by the DSMP lore such as Niki’s Bakery, the Red Banquet, etc.All proceeds earned from the zine will go towards supporting Action Against Hunger, an international organization dedicated to ending world hunger. A: A zine is a collection of works usually including art and writing. In Wine and Dine’s case, it is unofficial and fanmade. None of the Dream SMP content creators are involved with the project.Q: Is this a cookbook zine?
A: Wine and Dine is not a cookbook zine, meaning chef contributors will have more freedom in their works.Q: What is the content rating of this zine?
A: Wine and Zine is a 14+, SFW zine. No ships will be allowed. We will not be accepting creators who made NSFW and boundary-breaking content of CCs. Should we find out, they will be immediately removed.Q: What about violence and gore?
A: Some violence will be allowed in the zine, however, gore is off limits.Q: What are the specs of the zine?

A: All contributors will receive a free digital PDF copy of the zine.Q: Will there be a physical copy of the zine?
A: No, the zine will be digital only. Though once the zine is released, you are free to print a hard copy. Reselling the zine is prohibited.Q: How can I donate to buy the zine?
A: To receive a copy of the digital zine, you'll first need to donate at least $20 USD to the Action Against Hunger fundraiser that we've set up! After that, proceed to fill out this Google Form that will allow us to distribute the zine through your email once production is finished.Q: I have a question/concern that wasn't mentioned here!

- Chef—--------------- ✽ —---------------GENERAL GUIDELINES- Please read everything in our FAQ and contributor guidelines document first before applying. Check our schedule if you would be able to commit to the zine.
- You must be aged 14 or older to apply.
- You must have a Discord account.
- Please do not submit ship works as a sample.
- NSFW and boundary-breaking works will not be tolerated.
- If accepted, you are expected to work closely with the mods throughout the project.
- Applicants do not need to have previous zine experience. Contributors will be chosen based on the quality of the samples in their apps and how well they fit with the theme of the zine.
- You are free to apply for multiple positions, though you will only be accepted into one if you get in.==ARTIST APPLICATION==
- We will need a portfolio and three samples, at least one of which should be fully illustrated and colored, with a complete background.
- None of the samples should be WIPs or sketches.
- Dream SMP samples are recommended, but not required.
- (Optional) You may submit a piece that features food. The food does not have to be the focus of the illustration, but it should be distinguishable.
- Your application will be judged based on your understanding of anatomy, colors, and composition.==WRITER APPLICATION==
- We will need a portfolio and three samples. Samples should be around or less than 1000 words and no more than 2000 words maximum.
- You may submit an excerpt from a longer fic as long as they are understandable to the reader without context.
- At least one Dream SMP sample is required.
- For your portfolio, you may submit your Ao3 page or a compilation of your pieces in a Google Drive folder. Poetry and other types of prose such as nonfiction are allowed to be submitted.
- (Optional) You may submit a fic that features food. The food does not have to be the main focus of the fic, but it should be distinguishable.
- Your application will be judged based on characterization, flow, and coherence.CHEF APPLICATION
- We will need at least three samples of your dishes with short descriptions for your portfolio. Please provide clear pictures of your dishes.
- A complete written recipe is recommended, but not required.
- Chef applicants will also be asked to explain their previous cooking/baking experience.
- Try to have a variety of recipe types (appetizers, desserts, drinks, pasta, etc.), but if you specialize in only one or few, that’s also fine!
- Your application will be judged based on your ability to create recipes of different flavor profiles and presentation of your dishes.
